A New Star Is Born
Sodala. Weil ich nichts besseres zu tun habe um 1 Uhr in der Früh, werde ich jetzt meine Englischkenntnisse testen.
It all started 2 years ago when i got my first (out of meanwhile 5) bottle of Nasomatto Black Afgano. I knew that dark and smokey fragrances are going to be my path. They started a hurricane that made my senses go crazy.
After Black Afgano i've discovered Amouage Interlude. Every time i smell that fragrance, a childish smile appears on my face. I still like Interlude Man as much as i did the first time i smelled it.
But 3 weeks ago, i ran out of Interlude Man. I was terrified. I wanted something new, something even better than that. The ladies at LeParfum in Vienna offered me Fumidus by Profvmvm Roma but that one was just awkward. 20 minutes later i was still testing like crazy, i just didn't gave up. Then, the store manager came in with 8 bottles of Arso. Arso means burned, so let's see what this one is all about.
2 sprays on the back of my hand and i had tears in my eyes. But they were tears of happiness. I've rarely been so happy in my life. I was like "yessss !!! fiiiinally !!! thank you, God !!!"
A smokey leather note in the top of the fragrance made me surrender. This has to be the most beautiful top note i've ever experienced. 10 minutes later, a small hint of sweeetness joins the fragrance and it makes it absolutely divine. Delicious !!! A delicious smokey fragrance ??? Arso can !!!
Although it has no incense in it, Arso reminds me of dark churches and african rituals. Just like Black Afgano, Arso has a creamy sweetness that makes you smile and feel happy. Of course it's a dark fragrance but even darker fragrances can make you smile.
Arso doesn't change at all on my skin. What you get is what you see. A very linear masterpiece. I don't know if that was the intention of the perfumer, but he did a perfect job. Not as brutal as Black Afgano, a little bit smokier than Interlude Man, 10 times more wearable than Fumidus. Longevity and sillage ??? Medium-strong sillage and over 14h longevity on my skin.
I don't know about you, but this is the most impressive fragrance i've ever experienced. If you like smokey fragrances, this one might be the key to your happiness.
