Zum Norne wurde jetzt gerade diese Woche ein Variante als Öl bei LuckyScent auf der Homepage eingestellt.

Norne was created back when Slumberhouse was a relatively unknown project in the fragrance world and since then it has gone on to make quite a name for itself. As it nears its ten years I wanted to do something special to commemorate it. I’ve always advised customers to treat this one more like a perfume oil and to rub it into pulse points. It really should’ve been released as an oil in the first place, and as I used to create and sell a number of oil based perfumes I decided to revisit that format with a special ‘decennial Norne’.
First thing I did was take the formula for Norne and tweak it ever so slightly, then I added a massive dose of Mysore Sandalwood to help whittle down the trebly terpenic crackle of evergreen materials like an olfactory airbrushing. As I knew this would be a limited run, I dug deep into my drawers of special raw materials that I’ve amassed over the years, the unique and magical materials that are impossible to find anymore, no longer extracted, lucky finds or generous gifts of vintage materials.
The new notes list is quite exhaustive but of note: cedar, tree and oak mosses are dosed extra strong, I then created the fougere base in the cask, ‘cauldron style’. Bergamot, sage, flouve, spikenard fractions, concretes of lavender, geranium, deertongue as well as a generous dose of vintage corps champetre 2811 base to dress it up from an atmospheric nocturnal forest fragrance to a snobby, aloof, spicy masculine fougere, Norne suited in herringbone.
The entire thing is dosed at 68% potency in a proprietary oil blend of my own creation. It is no joke and I’m serious when I say all you need is a pin drop worth of oil rubbed into your neck or wrists. It will never go rancid and it will age beautifully, I promise.
This version of Norne comes in a special 15ml flacon. It will be available for purchase ($200) on Friday June 4th through Luckyscent. 222 bottles have been made.
