I saw your statement about the Hot Topic Riverdale Strawberry Milkshake fragrance, and I know what you mean - it's such a perfect milky strawberry fragrance but it's so hard to find! 🥲
Have you tested either of these? They're not identical, but feel close IMO!
1) "Fraise Fouettée" by Le Monde Gourmand - a bit sharper, but still has the creamy strawberry vibes
2) "Lait de Fraise" by Claire's (the accessory store in malls) - if your local Claire's has this in stock, you can test it for free, and it's such a nice strawberry milk fragrance surprisingly!
3) Not close, but still a fun kinda-creamy gourmand strawberry: "Tease Sugar Fleur" by Victoria's Secret - it's in stores again right now so you can try that one for free too!

I have not tried any of these, but I will definitely look into them. Thank you so much for taking the time to post this for me 🥹 I really appreciate it! When I got that Riverdale fragrance, I realized it was a dupe for (or at least very similar to) Strawberries and Cream from the BBW and American Girl collab from the early 2000s, which is another fragrance I severely miss. Trying to find dupes for both of these has been incredibly difficult. Buying secondhand has proven to be difficult as well. That being said, I will definitely plan a mall trip soon to smell your suggestions! Thank you! I am down to talk about gourmands anytime btw 💕

Omg I haven't thought about the Strawberries and Cream BBW/AG collab in forever! I miss those days 🥹so nostalgic.
Fraise Fouettee has notes of strawberry, orange (it's not strong though - definitely more strawberry), and cream.
If you don't want to blind buy, both The Perfumed Court and Surrender to Chance offer tiny decants of it. I've ordered from both of them and they're legit. Not affiliated, I just know it gets pricey trying to blind buy stuff secondhand!
They have Angel Soirée too - haven't tried that one yet (but will soon and can let you know!); I heard it's milky-strawberry as well.

P.S. Do you have a Forever 21 near you? They recently released a Eau de Parfum called "Berries & Cream" that is really delicious - to me it smells exactly like the Haribo Strawberries & Cream puffy gummies, if you've ever tried those.
They don't have it on the F21 site, but they do carry them in stores right now! 🍓🤍

(Part 1) @Gourmandgrl It's interesting that you mention the orange notes in Fraise Fouettee because I thought I was the only one who picked up on the orange in the Riverdale and BBW/AG Strawberries and Cream. I think it cuts the cream a little bit because in other strawberry creamy gourmand fragrances (like BBW Strawberry Poundcake and Bodycology Strawberry Cheesecake) I find the creamy parts to have a slight cheese smell? I know that sounds weird but if you've ever had cheese foam on boba before, it's very that. It's not bad, but not my preference. I'm going to look into everything you mentioned though!
As for cheapie gourmands I've been loving, I just got the Al Rehab Choco Musk perfume oil today and it's everything. I tried it on its own a little bit, but I'm excited to layer it with other fragrances.

(Part 2) @Gourmandgrl There is a Forever 21 in my local mall so when I inevitably do my mall trip, I'll be sure to check out Berries and Cream! I didn't even know that F21 made fragrances

@Chrissysmell oh interesting to hear you're experience with it, I don't pick up orange in the Riverdale fragrance - but that's good to know that you do, since it might be similar to what you're looking for! I wish I picked up orange in the Riverdale one, since that would be lovely.

@Gourmandgrl Choco Musk is great and recently I have been layering it with Ariana Grande Cloud (mainly because I have been trying to finish the bottle) which is a great combination! Also, I went to the mall today and the only fragrance they had that you mentioned was the Victoria's Secret one, which was pretty nice, but I was so upset that they had nothing else. My search continues!
I just saw today that Forever 21 is going out of business, so if you have a store near you, you might be able to find the Berries & Cream Eau de Parfum for even cheaper than normal!
Plus it might be the last chance to be able to try it, given that all stores will be closing.
Just thought of you since you're looking for a great strawberry scent, and it's one of my favorites! 🍓
Have you had any luck in testing other strawberry scents?
I haven't tried anything super-strawberry centered recently, but I've been loving Régime des Fleurs Crushed Fruits. It's very candied and fun. I also have a sample of Ex Nihilo Spiky Muse that I need to break into. Fun fact, Spiky Muse actually is made with real strawberries instead of synthetics!
