The Ugly Duckling
I have a penchant for buying and trying perfumes falling under the label " nobody wants me".
No trumpets and drums sounding their presence in the world.
And to make a short story long, lately I got interested in the Crown Perfumery line, after reading about its history and demise and I purchased, in time, almost all the perfumes still available, both for men and women. And with every and each one I discovered wonderful scents, good quality materials, great compositions and, something I never take into consideration, elegant bottles.
And now I will make the long story short: Malabar is a good, strong, beautiful oriental , in Mitsouko genre, with a little bit more powder, abondant in jasmine and with the same longevity but lesser sillage than the latter one. I was so surprised by it! This is a rich scent that lets your imagination wander. All Crown Perfumery creations have been discontinued and if you want to try some, go for Malabar and Matsukita.
