💪🏻🗿 Happy Fragrance Friday! 🗿💪🏻
This week, we return to a legend: YSL Kouros. I've posted about it before, but when I got this vintage miniature splash bottle, I decided it deserved another FF moment.
The Scent:
This is the Kouros. And after sniffing and trying this, I get why vintage batches are so sought after. The depth, the richness, the complexity, it’s leagues better than the reformulated versions. It's bold, animalic, yet refined in a way that feels strangely timeless and definitely masculine.
The Photo:
Pairing this miniature Kouros with a miniature head version of Michaelangelo's David felt like a good idea. Michelangelo loved and was inspired by Greek and Roman art, and his David, with the contrapposto pose and idealized male form and marble medium, could easily pass for a kouros statue. I also experimented with opposing directional light.
Hope you like it:

I really appreciate vintage items.
However, I hardly wear it. Everything has its time.
