Hello Elysium, Thank you very much for your reading and your kind comment on my blog article! I myself do not always write affirmatively about a scent if it left negative impression - frustration, incompatibility - especially failed blind purchases w/o testing opportunity, relying on praising reviews by other people; I then try to add my experience hoping to spare anyone else that might repeat the same mistake I did, only because no one else mentioned anything else than positive things. Still, I try to honestly describe and explain why I perceived something differently and what I personally did not like about it (there are few exceptions like some very low quality "dupes" that really just smelt of chemical liquid). I appreciate reviews sharing sincere feelings and thoughts, as you said, (the same for everything else in life) and find that is what makes a review valuable and authentic. I have had a hard week, so yesterday evening I decided to stop by the perfume outlet for distracting my mind and why not, buying a gift for my collection. I entered the shop for getting a bottle of Police Dark, which does not suit these forthcoming hot seasons, though I wanted to have in my wardrobe. Once in there, I started smelling some bargain scents and came across the following two: Kenneth Cole Black and Cartier Vetiver Bleu. Well, the former is aromatic, green like cut grass, ozonic and reminded me a perfume I had already... not identical, however very similar to CK Truth and Jil Sander for Men. Instead, the latter is earthy, dark, elegant, and resemble Lalique Encre Noir, a modern vetiver with a licorice-like background. You know what, I opted for buying the three of them.
