Dear Michel Angela, I feel I must correct you on two things. First, my 12 year old daughter designed my business card as a gift for Fathers Day. She was clever enough to get a free deal. I feel it would be wrong of me not to use these cards.
Second, Could you please tell me what prestige smells like ? Do you really think that the crystal flacons and gold taps really make the Caron perfumes better ? Or do you believe the media magacians who spend 25 Million dollars on an advertisement with Nicole Kidman really makes the Chanel perfume a finer quality. How in these times can you be so gullible ? Which perfume in your collection do you think has prestige ? Does it smell like gold leaf ? Do you buy a book by it's prestige cover or by the reputation of the author ? In sunny Aus. we affectionately call such people "wankers". Those poor fools who crave prestige, glamour and pomp. We pity their over compensation for having a low self esteem or poor confidence.Instead at Bud Parfums we prefer to spend our money on high qualiy ingredients.
What a pity you missed the expensive dark cocoa extract (very natural) and mistook it for a "chocolate sauce". Did you also over look the other 40 or so complex ingredients that make up Jessica? Thousands of customers would disagree with your impression. They call it innovative and new. Indeed, it is one of our best sellers. (Although, it may not suit your age.)
I think you are maybe a little lost in your bakery amongst the big commercial batches of dough and flour. Maybe a little confused in between the artificial sweetners.Go to the other end of the bakery my dear Michel where craftsmen are making fine pastries by hand.I know you are heading for a long cold winter, but please do not miss out on the simple,beautiful elegance of a chocolate croissant (which is Jessica).

Dear Apicius, Your words paint a true picture. Kalgoorlie is a dry desert town in Western Australia that is famous for its huge goldmine. There is so much dust. However, when the rain comes the wetness of red dust is so refreshing. Millions of wildflowers cover the desert in wild colours. This is the fragrance that I have tried to capture. Although a little manly, many women wear this also for its freshness. I wish I could meet you there sometime. In the meantime a small sniff will take us both there instantly. Cheers, Howard Jarvis.

Dear Apicius, I am so glad you liked Jackeroo. It is a light, summery scent that can be worn around the office without being to noticeable. The quiet achiever. It seems that 'Ugly Bastard" did not suit you to well and your description was good. I am curious as to whether you smoke ? Heavy or light ? Do you eat a lot of red meat or vegetarian ? Dear worshipper of the Goddess, once more we have played with your nose. I like this cheeky game of nose tweaking. There is a little goddess (or goodness) in all of us. The Goddess is charming, a little beauty and a lot of goodness. It is that warm feeling when you show a stranger a little kindness and just a twinkle of love for your fellow man. It is enchanting and you are quite correct in that She is a little related to Naiad. They are after all kindred spirits. Charming, playful and kind. A soft and calming influence over those who are nearby. No wonder sailors fall for her and follow at a respectful distance in awe. She can gracefully pass through a crowded place.... Please enjoy her grace in silence...

Dear Apicius, Thank you for your welcome. I will from time to time keep an eye on you all. I am so glad you liked "If". The poem by Rudyard Kipling has always been an inspiration to me, even as a boy (check it out ).This is a very manly cologne that is macho from an action man. It came about after I spent 4 hours chopping wood (it was winter here, some snow) and the heady smell of 5 different woods and the sap was so delicious I composed it that same day.
