Hi Lola, I love reading your reviews! So descriptive!

I’m letting everyone who has played the “Guess that Scent Game” know that the game has been moved to a more appropriate place in the Forum. You’ll now find “Guess that Scent” in the Miscellaneous section. Look forward to seeing our scent sleuthing friends in our new location.

PS - Just saw your post on Paintings and see that you have Franz Von Stuck's Pallas Athene! Snap.

Hi - well, now you got me thinking. I totally agree with your choices (although I haven't tried Black March, the notes evoke this feeling). I am a fan of Parfumerie Generale and so I was also thinking maybe Querelle with it's black cumin, frankincense and myrrh.
You're right too - this is very Gustav Klimt... but not? It certainly looks like his style - I think that's why I like it. Love his work - I have framed copies of Pallas Athene and The Virgin at home.

Hiya Lola - I love this background! Very apt for Autumn. Gorgeous colours. I know I'm a perfume nut because I'm instantly thinking about what perfumes it evokes!!

Hey Lola, thank you for the welcome! Looking forward to your posts and reviews! :D

Hi Sissi !! Good to see you here. With your beautiful reviews!! I wish parfumo would add CJ SCENTS to the database. hugs/S

Hello Lola82, I think I missed this movie so far. Horst Buchholz was a good actor, so I guess I should see it. When it comes to Horst Buchholz and Berlin, the Billy Wilder movie "Eins, zwei drei" comes two my mind.
It is a comedy about the situation of Berlin in the 1950's, but it was released a few days before the Berlin wall was built, and so it flopped.
