I have a hobby to collect smells from places I visited: Holland gave me Fusion Sacree, Berlin gifted Chambre Noir, Wien brought absolutely delicious Montecristo, Italy will rest in my memory as Sel de Vetiver. Still, one thing is missing - I spent a year in Munich, but at the end of the day I have absolutely no idea how this city smells. During this year I took my chance to order samples from Herr Wuchsa, annoyed personel in all major local shops, bringing dozens of testers home and spend much time trying to understand what smell can be good enough for this city. No luck. Probably, that is because I am always missing the smell of my home and one particular perfume - Ambre Russe. It stalks me from 2012, when I started filling my collection, it followed me in every search I had and suddenly it re-appeared several days ago in a conversation with the person, standing absolutely far from the parfumery.A good story needs a good ending. This forum and Germany in whole had wonderful offers in shares and tests - despite to the fact that something really unique you have to search yourself. No lucky chance will bring you your destiny and I will travel to Russland soon, to find my Russe :) But, I missed my chance to get this before it disappeared from Munich shops, so it will be absolutely great if I can have it from the Nikolaus. It is a perfect smell to describe the adventures I had and it will always remind me how close can the real win be.
